A Look To The Future

I'm excited to announce that I have been learning more about how to sell my prints. So I've put my camera down for a while and have started going through Flickr and organizing everything. Labeling, tagging, describing and more. I'll be posting a lot of my past photos from Flickr here as I come across them.

It's funny how seeing something as simple as a photo can spark an inspiration to change and try to grow as a photographer.

It all started when I came across an article on yahoo news about a 19 year old photographer that got found on Flickr. I love his work, and I'm inspired at the fact at how successful he is with no schooling.
I don't think I'm allowed to post his photos, so here are a couple links to show you. Photo1  photo2

Isn't he great? In my research on how to sell prints, I've learned that you are not allowed to sell prints on Flickr. I had no idea and found out I'm not the only one who was under the impression that having a flickr pro account enabled you to do so. A big NO. I guess Flickr doesn't want to look like Ebay.
So I was going to make a page here to direct people to in case they wanted to buy any prints, but then I found out that this site would be considered a commercial site, and any of the photos I've used freely in the past would not be allowed here.
Do you think I'd be able to get away with having this one page that I can direct people to on Flickr? We shall see....
