Book Hide Away #wordlesswednesday

I started this project at the beginning of Christmas after coming across a DIY post and realized it's a little harder to do than I thought, so I ended up putting it away for a few months. Now that Scott and I are getting ready to move, we are starting to go through our boxes again and I'm coming across things that I've forgotten about. Like this book hideaway that I finally took the time to finish. What do you think?

Change Brings Opportunity

I love inspiring people. And I've had that same goal since I've started blogging. With rising costs of every thing, I juggle 3 jobs and as a result of that, the blog always looks choppy. But I love blogging so much that I would be sad if I had to give it up. So I inquired about getting some help, outside of my bubble this time.

I'm so excited to introduce a new friend of mine, Liz.
So happy to come in contact with someone who seems to share the same views and goals. She is going to help me revamp KreativeKaring and hopefully get some new traffic and new inspiration to the site!

I'm always looking for ways to save money. Whether it be with collecting codes off things I buy, using a certain card to get rewards, or scanning my groceries to redeem points. If I'm buying these items anyways, what's 5 minutes out of my day to practice ways to save money and redeem free gifts?

Have you been collecting your Kellogg s codes for points? If you aren't you should probably start now. (Go on, go register and make an account!) I don't know how long this promotion lasts, but you can go on Google and search for codes that people are willing to share, that haven't expired yet. That's how I started. I thought, I'll just keep an eye out for other people's codes. hehe.
I snagged a few and that gave me a pretty good head start, but Shaw's is having a Kellogg's sale, so I took advantage of that, and as I'm sitting at the computer this morning, I remember that there are codes inside each box! I wanted to share the ones I just redeemed! I hope you are able to redeem them, too!

And please, let's help each other out, if there are any codes you have recently redeemed, I'd love for you to leave them in the comments! Thanks!~

Teen Facing Eight Years For Facebook Comment?

Most of you probably feel the same way I feel, and have heard this rant before, but I can't stay silent anymore. I am tired of having our rights stripped away! I have to stay up to date with what's happening around the world because it is my duty as a person to be aware of what's happening around me but at the same time it sickens me to wake up and read articles of people's rights being taken away and there's nothing I can do about it!

An article I read was about a teen who was arrested after he had made a comment on Facebook about bombing a school. When I read the title of the article, I thought, well, that's pretty bad making a comment like that, but as I read how it was used in context, I realized this kid is being treated unfairly! When is anyone going to start using some common sense?!

Carter, 19, was arrested in February of this year following an argument he had on Facebook regarding "League of Legends," an online video game.
"[S]omeone had said something to the effect of 'Oh you're insane, you're crazy, you're messed up in the head,’" Jack recalled to ABC affiliate KVUE in an earlier interview. "To which [Justin] replied 'Oh yeah, I'm real messed up in the head, I'm going to go shoot up a school full of kids and eat their still, beating hearts,’ and the next two lines were 'lol and jk' [all sic]."
Despite the teen's insistence of "lol" and "jk" -- internet shorthand for "laughing out loud" and "just kidding," respectively -- a woman who came across the comment on Facebook failed to see the humor. She alerted police after realizing Carter lived near an elementary school. On February 13, a judge authorized a search warrant. A warrant for Carter's arrest came one week later, reports WPTV. -Huffingtonspost
Now, because of all the recent violence, Carter has been charged with a "terrorist threat" and could be in prison for up to eight years. His bail is set to $500,000, an amount his family can't pay, so he remains in jail being continuously beaten up.

This is not justice and this is not fair. I can't be the only one who thinks our country is getting a little out of hand here.. Should there be a "limit" on Freedom of Speech?
