An update after a long absence..

It has been a long time since I've updated on here. About 1 1/2 years to be exact. Blogging ended up being something that I couldn't keep up with while I juggled 3 jobs.

This past 2015 has been very eventful. After 9 years, Scott finally proposed to me on our Anniversary Sept 2014 and I was so excited that I set a date for August 15th 2015. Little did I know how much planning was involved and I gave myself under a year to do it.

I was super excited to find my wedding dress at a thrift shop for $1 that it kinda set unrealistic expectations of what a wedding can cost. Thankfully, we had a lot of support from our friends and family that made it possible and beautiful.

My bridal shower was well planned and beautifully decorated by my friend Lisa and by the week of the wedding, I couldn't focus on anything. I can't believe the people that had come to help set the venue up. It was very emotional for me. I had no idea how many people cared.

The wedding was beautiful, and we went to the walkerstalkercon in Boston as part of our honeymoon. I thought zombie bride and groom was pretty fitting, and we stuck out like a sore thumb, which was my intention. We met a lot of the stars and even got pulled in for a quick interview!

Jose Pablo Cantillo is an American actor.
He is best known for playing Hector Salazar in FX's Sons of Anarchy
and Caesar Martinez in AMC's The Walking Dead.

Then we went to North Carolina to visit the rest of his family that couldn't make it for the wedding. We had a second reception that his mother put together which was so thoughtful!

When we got back to Maine, I tried to pick up more cleaning jobs to take place of the nursing home job that I quit but I was struggling because about a month after I got back I was feeling really sick. I went to the doctors finally and found out we are expecting! How very exciting!

I've been sick ever since, but I keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end. I hope to be able to have more time to continue to blog here.
